"I understand, as a consumer, giving all 5 stars may raise an eyebrow, but this is well deserved and I will explain why.
I have a background in commercial real state on the wholesale side and sales and am a stickler for customer service and follow up and command results. I found Steve by accident when I listed my house on Zillow under "Make Me Move," and was contacted by several agents...most of which were "quick lipped" and fast to get off the phone when I was not sure I wanted to list right away. When I talked to Steve, there was a calmness about him and a willingness to compile data for the area and help me understand where the price points are at to determine the timing of listing; which, the time was not right. Steve followed up with me and checked in for a , forwarding me information about the neighborhood, different strategies for potential development and went through all of the ideas for my property and when I was ready to list, I knew he was the agent I would use. I had to feel comfortable and confident working with him since I was closing from out of state. Fortunately for Steve, there’s no such promotional piece in his future. Since starting his career in 2004, Steve has found success through his passion for learning, a desire to provide the best customer service and sales instincts learned from his father, a successful salesman himself. He took to real estate to learn everything he could about investing in it, not just selling it. Helping people with one of the biggest investments of their life while at the same time helping them toward a better future is extremely inspiring.
Steve’s path to real estate was not a straight one. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and working in commercial real estate, he completed coursework towards a Master of Business Administration, then gained five years of real estate marketing experience at the San Diego Union-Tribune. But a sales career was always on his mind. In addition to the influence of his father, Steve had tasted success in a sales job he had as a teen, and the sales awards seemed to come easy.
Before Steve launched his real estate career, he took a month-long training course then took more classes and accreditations, earning certifications and becoming an Accredited Buyer and Seller Representative through the California Associations of Realtors®. Next, he learned about the business of investing how to buy low, negotiate, sell, deal with banks, investment strategies, appraisal, construction and even how much repairs and upgrades cost, from a new sink to a full remodel.
All of this has combined to help propel Steve into a highly respected place in the San Diego real estate industry. He attributes this to the knowledge and experience he has had, successfully going through the entire sales process himself on many properties.
