Charity is a fifth generation Californian, born in Oakland and raised in the East Bay.
Providing an entrepreneurial background, Charity previously owned an organic garden in Berkelely growing salad greens and edible flowers for such restaurants as Chez Panisse and Oliveto for over a decade.
As a stay-at-home mom, she wrote web content and CD-ROMS for children for two years. While adoring both pursuits, nothing has brought her more gratification than helping people buy and sell houses they love. Charity enjoyed the process of buying her first home and since then, she developed a habit of tracking sold properties.
Charity now lives in the wonderful South Berkeley neighborhood with her two girls, Ava and Una. She has a deep knowledge of the area’s widely-varied communities that include: the best dog parks, running trails, and restaurants. She has served on the ROOF committee for over 2 years.
With a core belief that home ownership is good for individuals, families and communities. It makes economic sense, it satisfies deep personal needs, and it ultimately connects us to each other.
