About dpaul

For two decades, I`ve lived in the heart of San Francisco, currently living in homey Noe Valley, but I have a deep passion for all corners of our magnificent city. I enjoy applying my knowledge of the city`s culture, history and topography to the current real estate market conditions to find the perfect solution for my clients` desires and needs, whether they`re looking for a loft in the urban center or a roomy home in one of our many charming neighborhoods. I have a keen eye for detail, spotting potential often overlooked by others, and strive to bring the best possible opportunities to my clients.

I come into real estate with a long history building products and services for some of the largest companies in the country. My success in that arena came from careful listening to clients` needs, pairing them with a realistic eye to available conditions, and getting all parties on board with the final solution. Buying and selling homes is no different; it requires team effort, and my experience bringing people together to an optimal solution for all involved is invaluable.

For more than a decade I`ve been an active volunteer guide with San Francisco City Guides, leading free walking tours of the Mission Dolores and Castro neighborhoods, and was the board chair of the organization, managing the rapidly growing group of hundreds of volunteers. A visual arts major, I have chosen the camera as my tool of expression, especially in combination with my passion for travel and food. My photography has been published in Out and About, a travel publication, and on various food sites including the Cooking Channel blog, Foodzie.com, SF Weekly, Blackboard Eats and SF Station. My work also appears on the blog my husband and I have published since 2006, Hedonia, and we self published a cookbook, Cooking at the Castello.

Testimonials

DPaul has been an amazing realtor upbeat patient accommodating and always a professional. Despite the fact that we were out of town buyers he never hesitated to show us new neighbourhoods and educate us about the city it's history and the pros and cons of our potential choices. He helped us over years to visit places to find the exact property that suited us in San Francisco. -Stephan R.

We could not have found a house in San Francisco without Dpaul. He completely understood what we were looking for and was fully supportive and energetic in helping us find it. He was very patient and never pushy. He never tried to talk us into something different or to get us to make an offer we weren't totally comfortable with. There were times when we gave up on our search but Dpaul did not - he was always optimistic and believed that we would find what we were looking for. I felt like Dpaul really cared about finding us the right house and when we finally did he was almost as excited as we were. He was always available answered all our questions immediately and everything went smoothly with our offer contract disclosures and closing. Dpaul helped us find a better house at a better price than I ever imaged. -Kristine N.
