Excellence – it's one of the driving forces behind my life and career. Whether it is at work, with family or friends, or competing in a race, I love doing my best. An accomplished athlete, I use the things I learned through running to achieve excellence in all other aspects of my life: set high goals, do what you love, work hard, associate with those who are successful, and ask for feedback.
Buildings have always inspired me. My decision to enter the real estate field evolved from working as an urban planner/geographic systems analyst with civil engineering firms. Those positions, as well as growing up working for my home-builder dad, have cemented my listening skills, devotion to customer service, attention to detail, and respect for deadlines - all vital qualities in any real estate transaction.
I am intimately familiar with the City and its neighborhoods, having worked on high-profile projects such as the California High Speed Rail project, Candlestick-Bayview Hunter`s Point Redevelopment, and numerous other local projects. As the mother of a young daughter, I know where to go for fun kids activities and how to navigate the challenges that come with raising a child in San Francisco.
After traveling extensively through Africa and Europe, I moved to San Francisco 17 years ago – a city that closely resembles my hometown in the wine region of South Africa.
When not helping San Francisco buyers and sellers, I enjoy life with my husband Frank, daughter Zoe, trying out new food and wine, or zipping through town on an early-morning run with our dog, Zimba.
"Maggie is amazing. She is professional yet easy to approach, engaged, and efficient. She makes sure her clients are taken care of and are actively involved from beginning to end. She was out of the country while we were closing on a purchase but she made incredible efforts to help us through a difficult process. I highly recommend her and would not hesitate to work with her again."

"I had a great experience working with Maggie. She knew what I needed to do (more than I did) to help get us into the right home."
