She spent 13 years with the boutique firm of Ritche-Hallanan, before the firm was acquired by Alain Pinel Realtors in 2007. In 2019 APR joined forces with Compass Real Estate.
In her first year as a residential real estate agent, 1994, she was elected Ritchie-Hallanan's Rookie of the Year. She was consistently one of the firm's Top Producing Agents, and she has continued to be a Top Performer at Alain Pinel. She has repeatedly qualified for the President's Roundtable, and was named to the REAL Trends 2014 List as one of the top 0.1% of all agents nationwide, and has earned the America's Best Real Estate Agents badge. She is a member of San Francisco's Top Agent Network, and is currently ranked in the top 2% of all San Francisco agents, for the first 6 months of 2017.
Marsha is a 32-year resident of San Francisco, who grew up in Kansas City and formerly lived in Washington DC. She is actively involved in the community. She served as President and top individual fundraiser for California Pacific Medical Center's pediatric fundraising organization, The Little Jim Club. She was a member of the inaugural committee for the Gladstone Institute's first annual fundraising event, which raised $1 million for research on cures for life's most devastating diseases: Alzheimer's, HIV/AIDS, Parkinson's and heart disease. She has also worked in a volunteer and fundraising capacity for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and CLAW (Critter Lovers at Work for the San Francisco SPCA. )
In December 2007, Marsha joined a People-to-People delegation to Rwanda, visiting orphanages and villages to learn about the reconciliation efforts in this formerly war-torn African nation. While in Rwanda she also visited Volcanos National Park, trekking to see the nearly extinct Mountain Gorillas inhabiting the forests there. She continues to support the Urukundo Home for Children orphanage in Rwanda.
Marsha received her bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Kansas. She has worked in advertising, public relations and for a lobbying association, and owned her own advertising firm before starting her second career in Real Estate 23 years ago. As a residential real estate agent she enthusiastically applies her promotional and creative talents to marketing your property for a quick sale.
As a Relocation Specialist, Marsha brings both personal and professional experience. As a child, she went to five different schools before Junior High, as her Dad was transferred from city to city moving up the "corporate ladder. " As a young professional in the Retail Industry, Marsha was relocated three times in three years by her company, moving from Kansas City to San Francisco to Dallas and back to San Francisco. She has great empathy for relocating individuals and their families.
