Priding himself on hard work and integrity, Bay Area native Osman Dost joins Compass with exceptional knowledge of architecture, lending and the local real estate market.
Growing up on the peninsula, Osman was just 16 years old when he started his first banking job, where he quickly learned how important honesty, trust and optimism are in building professional relationships. He went on to receive a degree in Architecture from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and later assisted a number of clients on various projects in that community. Next, he moved to New York City, where he oversaw the construction of restaurants and residential developments throughout the five boroughs.
Osman’s work etiquette, determination, and mental focus are also reflected in his love for cycling. He raced competitively in both Colorado and California, where he once pushed himself to ride over 600 miles in 8 days - all in the spirit of competition. He has traveled extensively throughout South America, exposing himself to other cultures of the world. His innate desire to help others has led him to everything from giving design advice to assisting in the construction of a dam in a cloud forest that gave a family access to running water. His love for community and people make working with him a genuine and connected experience.
