About Ted
I’m an East Coast transplant, from historic Annapolis Maryland. San Francisco and the Bay Area have been like a second home for me since 1980, when my aunt and uncle relocated to Palo Alto. After years visiting and falling in love with the bay area, I decided to make the move myself. I arrived in California almost 9 years ago and have loved everything from the weather to the abundant activities the bay area offers. I kicked off this journey in San Francisco and very quickly discovered the East Bay, specifically Walnut Creek. It just felt right so I moved across the bridge and I’ve called it home ever since.
Real Estate has been in my blood since my early twenties. My parents who were a few years into being empty nesters, decided to buy an old dilapidated home that sat atop a hill with close to four acres of property. It was the quintessential diamond in the rough. The whole family rolled up our sleeves and helped restore this gem back to life. When we were done I realized I wasn't ready to stop. I loved the process. I began flipping homes in 1999 and after several years of completing amazing projects, I had the opportunity to work for a property development company. My role was leasing and management, I worked with them on two projects in Maryland then a promotion got me to Philadelphia, and then Boston. It was amazing, and I look back on that experience fondly.
Now focusing on Real Estate in the East Bay I’m excited about combining my life’s experience, my attention to detail, my love for homes, and the ability to see the potential in properties that others might overlook so I can help my clients find the home of their dreams.
