About Tom

Originally from the South and Mid-West, Tom has called San Francisco home since graduating from Northwestern University. Prior to becoming a REALTOR® in 1995, he was a Buyer for Macys, The Emporium, and Bonwit-Teller. Since then, Tom has represented buyers and sellers in hundreds of transactions worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Tom is a tenacious advocate and negotiator on behalf of his clients.

For Sellers-Tom helps prepare their property for market from explaining current market conditions, to obtaining inspections, preparing necessary disclosure documents, to coordinating painting and staging along with any other work necessary to show the property to its best advantage. With the correct preparation and an aggressive marketing plan employing online and print platforms, as well as open houses and Brokers' Tours, the marketing process is smooth and straight-forward. The results are frequently contingency-free offers and smooth escrows with no surprises, and great results for sellers.

For Buyers-Tom helps buyers understand current market conditions, then diligently walks them through the offer process, helps them understand the disclosure documents and inspections, and guides them in the valuation of properties, which leads to the creation of strong and successful offers for his clients. Again, escrows are smooth with no surprises and Tom's buyer clients understand the market and the process.

For Both-As a strong negotiator and with long-standing relationships with other agents based on mutual respect, from multi-million dollar properties to first-time buyers and sellers, Tom uses his experience to accomplish his clients’ objectives, and has consistently ranked among San Francisco’s top agents since 1995.

Buying and selling real estate in San Francisco is complicated and can be over-whelming without the right agent. Almost all of Tom's business comes from past clients and their personal referrals. That is a great honor and speaks volumes!
