Client Testimonials

★★★★★
"Our experience with Maria and Suzy was exceptional. They made our house look its very best without stripping it of its character and personal touches. Their hands-on approach to preparing the house was remarkable - they didn't just recommend what we should do, they got it done! They brightened up woodwork with magic erasers, brought in lamps to replace tired ones and created a fun attic space with things from their own houses! Their backgrounds in design and decorating served us well and most definitely was reflected in the number of offers we received. Maria and Suzy are knowledgeable, professional, and creative but what sets them apart in the best possible way is their enthusiasm and their ability to make selling a house fun! "

About Suzy
Suzanne Armstrong, known by many as “Suzy”, brings to Compass 18 years of real estate experience, as well as a rich background in interior design. She has been a Greenwich resident for over 30 years and specializes in the Southern Fairfield County area, specifically Greenwich, Stamford, Darien and Westport. After graduating from Vassar College and the New York School of Interior Design, Suzy had a successful 13-year interior design career in Greenwich before joining the real estate world in 2005. She utilizes her decorating expertise to help people stage their homes to sell, as well as to imagine possibilities for spaces in their potential future homes.

Suzy’s Greenwich story started when she moved out of Manhattan in 1990 to marry her husband of 33 years. She has raised two children in the acclaimed Greenwich public school system, and involves herself in many local charities and organizations, from Meals on Wheels, The American Red Cross and the YWCA, to TLC Sweet Souls Pet Rescue and Greenwich Riding and Trails Association. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, reading, cooking, walking with her three dogs, and singing in the St. Michael’s choir. Having grown up in NYC herself, Suzy is cognizant of the deliberations that some people may have when choosing to make the move from city life to country life, and thus makes every effort to help them feel comfortable. She focuses not only selling her clients a home, but taking the time to introduce them to all the resources and facets of the community, so that they have a smooth transition and can experience all the great things that suburban life has to offer. She enjoys spending time with her clients and getting to know them, and has remained friends and in contact with almost all of them. She speaks Spanish and French, and has working knowledge of Italian, and loves travel and connecting people.

Before recently joining Compass in Spring 2020, Suzy was formerly with Coldwell Banker for 15 years, where she held the title of Top 4% of Coldwell Banker agents in the United States. Suzy prides herself on her patience and dependability, and goes the extra mile with a smile while embracing her 24/7 work ethic. Her entire life has revolved around family and the home; she has been nicknamed “Suzy Homemaker” by many of her friends and colleagues due to her love of cooking, fostering dogs, decorating and her career in real estate. In the words of Laura Ingalls Wilder, Suzy believes that “Home is the nicest word there is,” and wants to help you find yours. Please reach out and give her a call.
