As an active member of the community, she served on the Board of Directors for the New Kensington Development Corporation (NKCDC), as well as on the Real Estate Development and Housing committees offering housing counseling support and building affordable housing for communities in need. She also helped rebuild her neighborhood’s local dog park, the Palmer Street Doggie Depot.
