After graduating from California State Fullerton, Valery moved into the business arena. Negotiation skills that she learned early on as executive in the aerospace/computer industry have served her well when working on transactions for her luxury real estate clients, which number in the thousands.
Valery and her husband, Don have been married for 33 years and enjoy all things outdoors together including boating, jet skiing, water, and snow skiing, fly fishing, hiking, and cooking. Golf is a large part of desert life and Don is an avid golfer. Playing with their two goldendoodles, Sky and Cody top Valery and Don's list of fun things to do. The couple recently built a custom second home in Montana with Don taking the lead and Valery providing her tasteful input on design. Don and Valery spend time there during the summer, where Valery relaxes and recharges for another successful year selling the Desert lifestyle that she loves.
Giving back to the community has long been an important part of Valery's life as a contributor and volunteer to a variety of charities include City of Hope, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, American Cancer Society and Martha's Village and Kitchen. Valery is an active member of several professional organizations including CDAR (California Desert Association of Realtors, NAR (National Association of Realtors), Desert Estates Network and Women Working Wonders.
