Wayne grew up in College Station, Texas and moved to the San Marcos Austin area in 1987 to attend Texas State University. He immediately fell in love with the rivers, lakes, hill country, outdoor lifestyle and the creative vibe that Austin provides.
In 2002 with a background in high-level technology sales, Wayne shifted his focus to learning all aspects of the construction and home building business. Excelling as a consistent and top producing agent for two of Austin’s most respected and award-winning builders, Scott Felder and Newmark Homes. Wayne helped over 300 families through the building, mortgage and title process bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to each transaction. Having lived, worked and played in Austin since 1992 has unparalleled knowledge of the city. Wayne most recently represented a luxury custom home builder, learning another key aspect of the BOYL business adding to his construction knowledge base.
Wayne has a strong passion for learning. He is a creative thinker and excels at putting together complicated, multifaceted transactions with the goal of a win-win for all parties. He understands the unique aspects of each individual property he markets and represents. His clients value his confidentiality when working together. Wayne has an intimate understanding of architecture, budgets, construction science, and finish outs. He values his large network of friends, construction contacts and long-established business relationships. He's always up for a cup of coffee if you would like to chat.
Wayne lives in Steiner Ranch with his wife Jane and their three children. His interests include real estate, architecture, travel, the outdoors, live music, food & wine.
