Well there is the Charlotte Symphony with international guest musicians, the Charlotte Players, the Charlotte Choral, the Charlotte Concert Band, the Visual Arts Center at once a gallery, school, and lovely gift shop. Punta Gorda’s own airport is just minutes away; Fort Myers and Sarasota airports are about 35 miles from here. Multiple hospitals provide excellent health care. From Gulf Cove, the lovely beaches of the Gulf of Mexico are a short, pleasant drive away. There you can find beautiful shells and sharks’ teeth, not to mention water the color of an aquamarine to swim in.
