May is here which means the spring market remains in full swing, warmer weather is (finally) here and Mother's Day is next Sunday!


Speaking of mothers, let me introduce you to Azucena del Carmen in Nicaragua. Azucena and her family work hard for everything they have, with a fierce determination to not let anything get in the way of their family surviving and thriving.


Though they appreciate what they have, that doesn’t mean it’s easy. For the past five years, I have partnered with Giveback Homes with the goal to turn the act of buying and selling homes into an opportunity to build homes for families in need, such as Azucena's. 


This week we are fortunate to close on a beautiful home in Conifer and I couldn’t be happier for our wonderful clients and friends, Kelly and Barb. But this home will also represent so much more than that. Proceeds from this sale mean that Azucena and her family now have a safe place to call home. "I don't typically write reviews for anything, but working with Jessica and her group deserves a write up. Jessica is truly invested in her profession: it isn't a hobby or something she does when it suits her. She and her impressive group are always available but, more importantly, they know the areas, trends and serve as leaders to their clients. 


We have both purchased and sold with Jessica (repeat customers!) and I wouldn't trust anyone else to handle the process, stress and details like she and her team does. To be direct, I think the edge they bring is not handling other buyers and sellers, it's handling other buyer and seller AGENTS.
