They have worked together for over two decades, first at boutique brokerage Joshua & Co., which was acquired by Douglas Elliman in 2014. Now, once again, they’re moving forward under the Compass banner.

Meet the Newest Members of Compass Aspen:
Marian Lansburgh is a Miami native who has lived in Aspen for 38 years and has been involved in many non-profit organizations. Known for her strong community ties, sharp business instincts, and exceptional sales record, Marian has built her success on trust, relationships, and local engagement.
Jennifer Engel, originally from St. Louis, brings a Midwestern spirit and tireless work ethic to the Aspen real estate market. She has become a trusted advisor for many of her long-time, loyal clients, working with both buyers and sellers throughout the Roaring Fork Valley.
Marian and Jennifer teamed up in 2015 to create the Engel Lansburgh Team, offering a powerful combination of experience and service. Together, they recently represented the seller of a $32 million estate at 844 Roaring Fork Road and the buyer of a $52.5 million property in the West End. They have several exciting listings scheduled to come to market this summer.
Raifie Bass has been a staple in the Roaring Fork Valley real estate scene since 1994. With a focus on primary residences, high-end vacation homes, and residential development, his current listings include an $18.5 million estate at 1894 Castle Creek Road.
Wendy Wogan, an Aspen native, comes from a family that’s been involved in the local real estate industry since the 1950s. Known for her expertise across a range of property types—from condos to luxury estates—she recently closed a $9.5 million sale in Meadowood and brings 25 years of experience to the Compass team.
Julia Herman, originally from England, has lived in Aspen since 1992 and spent the last 20 years building a reputation for high-touch client service in the luxury sales and rental market. She has generated over $30 million in volume over the past five years.
Lauren Garrity, born in Aspen, is a seasoned professional with 20 years of experience. She began her career working alongside her father, a longtime local broker, and most recently served as Assistant Executive Manager of Sales at Douglas Elliman, where she supported many of their top-producing agents.
After decades of success, the move was about the future. These agents sought a brokerage to help them scale their businesses through industry-leading technology and elite marketing.
