Miami Has Great Schools... |

| | Miami is one of the most seductive cities in the US, with our vibrant nightlife, flavorful restaurant scene and near-perfect weather nine months of the year. For those considering a move to the Magic City, spring is a great time to purchase real estate. This gives families time to get settled before school starts in the fall. |

For many families, proximity to their children's school(s) is one of the most important criteria in choosing a home. But many people don't know how or where to start finding the right school. Miami has excellent options - but I am a firm believer that no school is the perfect fit for every child, and no child is the perfect fit for every school. If you have friends or family members who are moving to Miami and are in need of information about our local schools, forward this to them. I know the lay of the land intimately. I am intuitive and objective. I'm not a certified education consultant (although I can recommend some good ones!) but I can help you narrow down your choices based on your family’s culture, your lifestyle and your needs. |

One of the best ways to choose a school is to connect with parents and students who attend, to ask all the important questions. If I don’t have a personal experience with a particular school l will be happy to connect you to someone who does. I have vast first-hand knowledge about Miami's various schools, as well as the personalities and social groups associated with them. This makes me a uniquely valuable resource to new Miami residents. |

| My children, my sister’s children and my cousin’s children all attended Palmer Trinity School for middle school and high school. My sister Morgan and I went to St. Stephens for elementary school. My husband Paul currently works at Gulliver Preparatory School as Chief Operating Officer. My husband worked at Palmer Trinity School for 9 years as Associate Head of School for Operations prior to his current position. My mother taught at St. Stephens for 20 years. My mother taught at Ransom Everglades for 15 years (after St. Stephens), then worked in the Admissions office at RE for 12 years until she recently retired. My daughters attended St. Philips, The Growing Place and Granada Day School for Pre-K 3, Pre-K 4 and Kindergarten. My daughters attended Somerset Gables (an Academica charter school) for elementary school. My husband Paul worked as a consultant for Academica Schools (Somerset/Mater) for several years when my children were in elementary school. My daughter Aly and my niece and nephew attended St. Thomas Episcopal Parish School. My daughter Aly has danced at Alexander Montessori School for 6 years. My sister and I attended Ponce de Leon middle school and Coral Gables High School.

| | I founded and operated a business called JustAskBoo for 14 years that featured a popular community bulletin newsletter with over 30,000 opt-in Miami area subscribers. I worked closely with most of Miami’s local private schools to advertise their admissions events, summer programs and more. (Image on left: With my besties at a fundraiser. All of our kids have attended different Miami schools!) |

| I have friends, family and/or clients at Carrollton, Westminster, Riviera School, Miami Country Day, Cushman, Temple Betham, Coral Gables Prep, Plymouth Preschool, Temple Judea Preschool, Belen Jesuit, Christopher Columbus, St. Hugh, St. Brendan, Our Lady of Lourdes, Palmetto Middle and High Schools, Coral Reef High School, St. Agnes, La Salle, McGlannan, Roig Academy, Florida Christian and various other private, public, charter and magnet schools throughout Miami. |
