It may come as a bit of a surprise, but we are involved in real estate all over the Bay Area, California, and the entire United States! No, we are not jet set celebrity agents (shocker, I know!), but we do treat every referral we place as a "high touch" experience.
What does this mean to you? When you honor us by asking for a recommendation for a quality Realtor in another region, we become behind the scenes partners with that agent for the duration of your home buying/selling experience. We provide not only the introduction including your baseline criteria, but we also regularly check in with both you and that agent to ensure that everything is running smoothly, including keeping tabs on every milestone throughout the process - and then some.
For example, we recently helped a clients' son and partner, Chris and Alyssa, purchase their first home in Cleveland, Ohio. In this case, since Janie did not yet have an established relationship with a great Cleveland agent (we do now!), she got referrals for several agents in the target area, researched their backgrounds and experience, interviewed them, and ultimately recommended Carolyn, who turned out to be a perfect fit. Along the way, we helped educate Chris and Alyssa on the pros and cons of purchasing a duplex vs. a single family home, we reviewed candidate homes and later disclosures as an additional set of eyes, and of course helped Chris and Alyssa establish that intimate level of trust with Carolyn that is so essential in building a strong relationship. And we were in regular communication with Carolyn on the status of the major milestones. The end result? Chris and Alyssa are happy homeowners, and Janie's vast database of awesome referral partners has grown, too.
For a bit of perspective, this year alone we have referred clients and friends to agents in San Francisco, San Leandro, Cleveland, Pasadena, and Tacoma, Washington, and have received referrals in return as well. The majority of the time Janie already has a great referral agent on the other side - such as Allison in San Francisco and Anja in Oakland/Berkeley/San Leandro - and that list is constantly expanding with the likes of Carolyn in Cleveland.
Hopefully it goes without saying, but we very much hope that you will refer us to any friends, coworkers and family that you have moving into the area.
