Stoop Scoop

Jump Into June!

Guess it’s finally time to shut the windows and turn on that AC. Summer is starting to sizzle! Speaking of HOT…in the first quarter of 2025, Compass agents around the world sold 27.8% MORE transactions year-over-year, while transactions for the overall market decreased by 2.1% – meaning Compass outgrew the market by roughly 30%.

Our JPM Team saw a 50% increase in transactions during this period - so yeah, DC is hopping! This is not to say that the transactions these days are easy - we are seeing price adjustments, buyers and sellers (!) remorse, and tough inspection negotiations. To be sure, these are the times that separate the pros from the novices in all aspects, from realtors to stagers, inspectors, and contractors and everyone else who touches a real estate deal. We’re grateful to the cadre of professionals we’ve assembled over our 86 combined years in real estate, and we love connecting the best of the best of them with our clients to help you make your plans a reality.

Call us when you need a referral - it’s what we do!
