How is Spain's economy growing rapidly, outstripping other European countries?  Strong tourism, heavy infrastructure investment, an increase in the renewable share in the electricity mix over the past 5-6 years has implied a drop of 40% in wholesale electricity prices, and the 90% of the increase in labor force has come from in migration:  While other European countries are closing their borders, Spain will welcome nearly a million migrants over the next 3 years, through work visa schemes and the granting of residence permits to undocumented workers. Earlier this year, I was one of 120,000 hopefuls who entered the lottery for a chance to run my very first Chicago Marathon, and one of the 53,000 lucky participants to get in. So of course, I have to run it! The course starts and ends in Grant Park, winding through 29 neighborhoods with the energy of 1.7 million cheering spectators. It's been nearly 40 years since I last visited the Windy City - what a way to rediscover it! COURSE MAP.
