Hello August!

August, a month of warmth, adventure, and a vibrant energy, has arrived with its unique charm and allure. As the sun-soaked days stretch on, August offers us the perfect opportunity to slow down, bask in its warmth, and appreciate the simple pleasures of life. This month, I recount my day at the Goshen Country Fair, share a few articles I found interesting, and link to my most recent article on ADUs.

My Fair Evening

Last week I enjoyed an evening at the Goshen Country Fair. For those who don't know, the fair remains one of my favorite West Chester area mid-summer traditions. Combining food, rides, contests of skill, and 4H pursuits into an event for all ages, I've always loved going to the fair.

This year, I managed only one evening's trip, so had to pack as much fun in as I could. The sheep and cows were excellent, though I don't know who got the ribbon. The food was delicious, especially the famous donuts. And, most of all, it was great to participate in the continuation of a tradition so meaningful to me.

If you made it out to the fair this year, I'd love to hear about your favorite parts! And if you weren't able to make it, hopefully you'll get to experience this Chester County tradition next year!
