* TPAC secures deal to relocate to Nashville's East Bank after years of negotiations
* An Indiana-based developer resurfaced its plans for a giant hotel in SoBro. White Lodging Services Corp. recently submitted a request for bonus height certification for a 35-story hotel tower on Eighth Avenue, according to Metro records.
* North Point Hospitality is planning a 13-story AC Hotel on a Midtown site located at 1902 Hayes St., according to documents submitted to the Metro Planning Department.
* The Fallon Co. names its East Bank development "Eastpoint." The 30-acre neighborhood surrounds Tennessee Titans' new $2.1 billion stadium. Construction begins late 2026 with residential and hotel towers.
* Universal Music Group plans Wedgewood-Houston office. The office will occupy T3 Wedgewood-Houston building's fifth floor. The label joins a string of major entertainment firms relocating to the neighborhood.
* Nashville Yards plans third hotel doubling current 716-room capacity. New hotel would be downtown Nashville's second-largest behind Omni. Hotel would join Grand Hyatt and Union Station in the development.
* Corner Partnership, led by local investors Mark Bloom and Larry Papel, paid $6 million for the 2907 12th Ave. S. property, which currently holds an older retail building, according to Metro records. The group, which developed the nearby 12South retail spot home to Marine Layer and Madewell, has decided to take another stab at the hot corridor and is planning a new retail development on the recently purchased site.
* President Trump formed two Nashville business entities in September. The entities suggest Trump's first U.S. licensing deal since 2017. Trump expressed interest in a Nashville luxury hotel in 2015.
* Seema Prasad opens Crush Bottle Shop in Wedgewood-Houston Nov. 26. Crush offers authentic wines, spirits and THC beverages with delivery.
* You Are Here Hospitality opened Golden Prawn #3 in East Nashville’s Riverside Village at 1404 McGavock Pke. on Dec. 3.
* Icon Entertainment to open The Greenwood in East Nashville mid-summer. The venue features rooftop, dining room and lounge areas. The Greenwood offers three distinct experiences with Palm Springs theme.
* Lauren Antoinette Maranto to open Antoinette's Wine Social in Sylvan Park. The wine bar will feature affordable bottles and shared plates.
* Nashville is getting its first Sweetgreen! The popular Los Angeles-based restaurant will open in the Gulch at 341 11th Ave. S., according to a new business filing, made by Sweetgreen co-founder and CEO Jonathan Neman.
* José Andrés Group will open three restaurants in Nashville's W Hotel. Zaytinya, Bar Mar and Butterfly will debut in early 2026. The group will also revamp W Nashville's WET Deck experience.
* Nashville-based Asurion has agreed to buy London's Domestic & General. The deal boosts Asurion's annual revenue by about 15%, to $10.6 billion.

* American institutions of higher learning enrolled 17% fewer new international students this school year, according to data released by the Institute of International Education.
* Ford is now selling pre-owned vehicles on Amazon, making it the second automaker to do so after Hyundai.
