The million twinkling lights that cover every building, path and tree at Bucks County’s boutique shopping oasis, Peddler’s Village, during the holidays are only illuminated through mid-January. But those final two weekends are celebrated with the annual Fire & Frost Fun event, featuring live fire artistry and ice-carving demonstrations.

See performers from the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts juggle, spin and breathe fire while nearby ice sculptors from Ice Concepts turn blocks of ice into stunning works of ice-art, with more than 40 on display. Bonus: Don’t miss your chance to get the perfect wintry selfie in the ice throne (!) in the courtyard.

The Winter unWINEd at Shady Brook Farm

The winter edition of Shady Brook Farm’s free nighttime music series features a rotating lineup of live performers and bands; pay-as-you-go food (think pizza, soft pretzels and sandwiches); and craft beer, specialty cocktails and locally sourced wine at the Stone’s Throw Pub.

While you’re there, don’t miss a chance to hit up the Farm Market for fresh-baked goods, homemade nut butters, local honey and coffee, gourmet cheeses, and more.

Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest at Penn’s Landing

Experience a Penn’s Landing winter wonderland as the free Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest sets up on the Delaware River waterfront for its 32nd season.

Glide around the free NHL-sized ice skating rink (tickets required) surrounded by fantastic light displays. Enjoy pay-as-you-go games and amusement rides on the boardwalk. Or indulge in seasonal treats and hot drinks around firepits at the rinkside lounge or from inside a cozy warming cabin or heated igloo.

Astra Lumina at Abington Art Center

Take a walk among the stars: Astra Lumina is back in Montgomery County.

Part of Moment Factory’s Lumina Enchanted Night Walk series, this outdoor celestial light show weaves together lighting, projections, sound effects and music to guide visitors through an immersive 27-acre illuminated forest.

The stellar light show aims to bring people, nature and the universe a little closer together. Tickets are required, and pay-as-you-go food and drink are on-site.

Flight on Ice

One of the largest winter attractions in Delaware County, this outdoor rink benefits the Delaware County Veterans Memorial Association with its family-friendly fun including ice skating, moon bounces, heated tents, firepits and refreshments.

A Longwood Christmas Display

A holiday tradition for many families, A Longwood Christmas is one of the area’s most popular attractions. Wander the paths outside through hundreds of thousands of twinkling lights, enjoy the flora and fauna inside the conservatory and get in the spirit of the season amid the vast beauty that Longwood Gardens offers. Timed tickets are required and sell quickly, so be sure to plan ahead.
