Fall is always a time of reflection for me. I start planning for the new year ahead, but also look back at what all I have accomplished, and what to work on. One thing remains the same, I am incredibly grateful for this life that I am living with my, clients, family, and my friends. My Mom and I have been hosting a Turkey Drive in Oakmont for going on 8 years now. All of the Turkeys and checks that are gathered go directly to the Redwood Gospel Mission so that they can in turn host their Great Thanksgiving Banquet. If you have a turkey or a check that you would like me to pickup before our Turkey Drive on 11/23, please let me know. Thank you all for your support! |

While there are numerous forecasts regarding the post-Election period and its economic implications, the true effects will only become clear as they occur. In the realm of real estate, the adage "all real estate is local" is evident when comparing Sonoma County to Sonoma Valley in October. In Sonoma County, most communities saw an increase in closed sales and a decline in median sales prices. Conversely, Sonoma Valley experienced a 14% drop in closed sales but a 28% rise in median sales price, jumping from $1,005,000 in 2023 to $1,290,000 in 2024. Notably, the days on market (DOM) in Sonoma Valley increased by 157%, from 52 days in 2023 to 133 days in 2024, marking the largest rise in the county. This surge was largely due to two listings: an $8.5 million property that eventually sold for $6.1 million after 1,300 days, and a $169k property that sold for $195k after 962 days. |
