For the first time ever, Compass achieved the status as the #1 Brokerage in New York City based on closed sales volume and total transactions!

In addition, for the third year in a row, Compass was ranked the #1 Brokerage in Manhattan for the number of closed sales transactions and the #1 Brokerage in Brooklyn in both closed sales volume and the number of closed sales transactions!

DID YOU KNOW?

U.S. cities added more than 2,900 buildings with more than 200 apartment units between the years 2021 and 2023. That is 17% more than were built from 2018 to 2020. It also outpaced the increase in the number of smaller properties of at least 50 units. High-rises were just 2% of new apartment supply during the 1990s, but rose to 14% in 2022. Most developers will tell you it takes almost as much effort to build a 250 unit building as it does a 100 unit building.  Adding more units and height can deliver bigger profits. The average square footage of a new apartment unit fell 6% from 2013 to 2022. > HERE.
