Philly auto Show

One of Philly’s can’t-miss annual winter events, the Philadelphia Auto Show takes over the Pennsylvania Convention Center for just one final week.

The massive exhibition features hundreds of vehicles on display (with most major manufacturers represented) and test-drive opportunities both outside and inside the Convention Center, with up-close looks at the industry’s newest model year fleets. The Black Tie Tailgate kicks off the week on the eve of the show (Friday).

Note: Buy your tickets online or bring cash to buy at the box office, as no ticket kiosks are on-site this year.

NoLibs RESTAURANT WEEK

Over two dozen NoLibs restaurants unite for one last week as Northern Liberties Restaurant Week closes out 14 days of multi-course prix-fixe meal deals.

This year’s event features lunches with two courses or more for $10, $15 and/or $20 and dinners with three or more courses for $25, $35 or $45, with cuisine including top-notch Japanese fare at the uber-casual Yanaga Kappo Izakaya, Mexican cantina faves at El Camino Real, Mediterranean eats at Apricot Stone and more.

THE BARK BOWL

Super Bowl Sunday has gone to the dogs. For the fifth year in a row, indoor turf and doggie toys transform Northern Liberties’ Craft Hall into a pet-friendly play space for an afternoon of games and friendly competition.

While the city’s furriest football fans are at play, pet-parents can dig into a special football-themed yappy hour menu of drinks, craft-style pizza, BBQ platters and more. If you are looking to adopt, the PSPCA is also on site with a few puppers in need of furr-ever homes. Advanced registration is encouraged.

HEARTS AND CRAFTS

Get in on some heart-shaped fun at a whimsical, fairytale-inspired Valentine’s Day celebration on the waterfront.

Step into a magical cardboard storybook world filled with life-sized castles, dragons, gingerbread houses and more. Families are in for a variety of hands-on activities, mixing up their own love potions, crafting Valentine’s Day cards, and DIYing tutus and chapeaus to rock on the red carpet and the dance floor. A live DJ sets the soundtrack for the afternoon’s main event, a bubble-licious ball.
