Don't mind me over here at my listing hopping on a broomstick! I was off to my Open House and my 10 year old said that my shoes looked like witches shoes. BOO! My Mom caught me sweeping at my listing and I had to tell her the story which was perfect timing for a photo. Anything for a laugh! The crisp weather and crunch of leaves underfoot are my favorite signs of Fall. Pumpkin spice flows into my coffee each morning, and yummy fall candles bring cheerful scents throughout our busy football-cheer-daycare-real estate- full social calendar home. Does this sound anything like your start to October?
Harvest is underway throughout Napa and Sonoma counties. No longer being in the wine business, I miss participating in the magic of the season. Being just a consumer now, and having worked at almost every level I have such gratitude for all that goes into the bottle. Thanks goes to those that are out tending to the vines, grapes in the field, the crew working on processing the fruit and turning it into wine, the sales staff ensuring each vintage is sold, and the shipper that gets it into the hands of you and I. All of those jobs are what makes our community, the "world renowned" Napa and Sonoma Counties.

Since my last newsletter, I have listed two properties, and have sold one of them. If you weren't aware, the MLS (Multiple Listing Service) where all agents post and market listings went down for almost a month. One of the properties was supposed to go on the day after the outage. I had to market organically and felt the importance of networking with colleagues. We sold the home in about a week, and as of Thursday, our seller is in the replacement home that we helped get her into contract on in Chico. Makes me so happy to have been a part of it all. Being out in the market everyday, I hear needs and benefits to different financial options for buyers and sellers. It may seem like rates will not be changing, but keep in mind that getting into a higher rate now is only temporary. Oakmont, Santa Rosa, CA My Mom and I have been gathering whole turkeys in Oakmont and donating them to Redwood Gospel Mission for those that are less fortunate. We started the event in 2017 after the fires, based around my Aunt Cindy and her community in Fountaingrove gathering for many years. Check out who helped my Mom unload her car a couple years ago!
