September 2026

Hello September... and I'm back!

To my friends, family, colleagues and clients (and future clients), it's taken me 20 months to get the drive to write a newsletter. To feel witty, or confident via words on a page in lieu of circumstances most of you already know. I loved writing this content, finding interesting and inspirational stories that involve my love of architecture, design, real estate (and juicy gossip about the entertainment industry). But I got really busy in late 2024. It was a GOOD busy. I had multiple clients and design projects, and it was leading to a very productive 2025. And then we lost our home in the Palisades Fire on January 7th, 2025. We lost our community, our friends, and our neighbors. My children lost their schools. But the reality was that it did not stop me from working. I did not stop ... because I had clients who needed me, and in return I needed them just as much, if not more, to get through the day, weeks and months afterwards. What came of this tragedy was a deeper understanding of my inner community, my family, friends, clients and colleagues, that helped me come to terms with the home and community I had physically lost.

The reality is that we ALL suffered from the fires, whether you lost your home, still had a home standing, had friends who lost their homes, or knew businesses that were lost or affected. There truly isn't a day that goes by where this tragedy has not affected people I run into daily, making Los Angeles a much smaller world than I once thought. My new reality of helping others buy, sell or lease a home, even if I don't have a home of my own, is truly a very straight and clear path forward to recovery.

Through this tragedy, I have also learned that what we grieve doesn't have that linear path I strive for, no matter how hard we try and make sense of it...and trust me, there have been plenty of internal struggles to understand fairness, empathy, and why or how this even happened. But trying to understand a world we cannot control, has made me even more determined to work on controlling what I can... and that is creating a real estate business I am proud of, that shows my determination, integrity, honesty, and loyalty to my clients. 2025 paid off by ranking in the top 1.5% of Real Estate Agents Nationwide by Real Trends, an accomplishment I truly value after only 5 years in this wild, crazy and unpredictable business. Wouldn't change it...

Thank you for supporting me

Sunset Strip-Hollywood Hills West

1635 Woods Dr

2 BD 3 BA 2200 SF $20,000,000

Case Study House #22 --- universally known as the Stahl House --- stands as one of the most important residential works of the 20th century: a museum-grade architectural artifact preserved with exceptional care and offered now, for the first time, by the original family. Designed by Pierre Koenig for Buck and Carlotta Stahl, the home became immortalized through Julius Shulman's legendary 1960 photograph, later recognized by Time Magazine as one of the most influential images in the publication's 200-year history. Its impact on architecture, visual culture, and the global perception of Los Angeles remains unparalleled. Privately positioned at the end of a gated drive, the property offers a rare combination of discretion, security, and serenity high above the city, with exterior cameras supporting the home's privacy. This offering represents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to acquire a true cultural landmark. For collectors of design, patrons of architecture, or institutions seeking to safeguard an American masterpiece, there is simply nothing comparable. Koenig's disciplined steel structure, its floating corner, and the sweeping 270-degree panorama of the city create a living environment that is at once serene, elemental, and awe-inspiring. A City of Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the home carries its Mills Act designation and an unbroken chain of family stewardship since 1960. While the Stahl House stands as one of the most significant and carefully preserved architectural residences of the 20th century, the house also presents opportunities for thoughtful restoration, modernization, and personalization undertaken in accordance with the property's architectural significance and applicable preservation guidelines. This is not merely a sale; it is a passing of responsibility --- a search for the next custodian who will honor the house's history, respect its architectural purity, and ensure its preservation for generations to come. In a city filled with remarkable homes, there is only one Stahl House. For the right buyer, this is a legacy to carry forward. Shown to pre-qualified clients only.
