Neighbors, Friends and Clients! Less than 60 days left in 2021 and only about 45 days until Christmas! Winter is on its way, and Thanksgiving is right around the corner. This time of year gets so busy we all kind of drop into a zone of “to do’s”, “to go’s”, and “to get’s” with errands and lists that include dinner recipes, gifts ideas and purchases, parties and celebrations, activities and family events, Christmas cards, shopping, Thanksgiving plans, travel schedules, excitement to see friends and loved ones, and some memories of those who are not going to be home for the holidays. Lots of stuff going on! This is not to mention that at the same time most of us have jobs, work to be done, year-end wrap ups, and new year forecasts and planning. In our case, our job is real estate sales but, no matter your profession, year-end workloads, office holiday parties, gift exchanges, and modified work week schedules all contribute to the end-of-the-year madness!!! :) So I suggest we each take a deep breath (it is still early enough) and make specific plans…to enjoy. Enjoy time with neighbors, friends, family, co- workers and…celebrate. Celebrate the many successes, relationships, and events of the year past, and observe a season of Thanks and Gratitude, then a celebration at Christmas, and then the fresh beginning of a New Year! Wow. It is quite the time of year. So plan to enjoy and make a sincere effort (if possible!) to slow walk the year’s end and savor the many blessings it brings.
