| | Denver’s oldest record store, Wax Trax is about to spin into a new neighborhood this fall. The city’s oldest, and dare I suggest best, store for finding vinyl treasures will open its latest location in the West Highland neighborhood on October 11. Owner Pete Stidman sees the vibrant, walkable nature of West Highland as an ideal match, with local favorites like West End Books and St. Killians Cheese Shop nearby. Though details are still under wraps, expect a soundtrack-worthy grand opening—rumor has it there will be music. |

It’s a space for discovery and celebration—crafted for emerging creatives and cultural enthusiasts. |

| | Think of Black Cube as Denver’s shape-shifting art museum—popping up in unexpected places and turning warehouses, city streets, and hidden corners into one-of-a-kind art experiences. This fall, they’re rolling out What We Hold On To (Sept 5–Dec 12), a group show that transforms pallet racks into fabric-wrapped reflections on memory and meaning—complete with an opening weekend of talks and hands-on workshops. And if you like your art served with a side of late-night energy, don’t miss SWEAT on Sept 18: an underground celebration mixing performance, music, and a few surprises for Black Cube’s 10-year anniversary. |
