Food Halls are a unique and exciting way to experience meal time and the weekend-favorite brunch can feel underrepresented in this space. Luckily, brunch is back at Avanti Food & Beverage in Denver’s popular LoHi neighborhood. Avanti has returned to serving brunch options after undergoing renovations and adding a coffee shop. The 7 stalls there are offering their personalized take on brunch ranging from Thai waffles to salmon arepas, classic mimosas, bloody marys and specially crafted spritzes.

As we push into the heat of summer and temperatures climb, it’s time to get wet at Colorado’s lakes, rivers and water parks! Whether you’re looking for a natural spot to take a refreshing dip, a water park for an exciting plunge, or a local splash pad, check out these options. If you’re not familiar with splash pads, they are water play areas often in public parks with water features like fountains and water jets, with little standing water, making them a great way to cool off when the city heats up. [P.S. Insider Info Drop] A couple of my favorite local water spots not mentioned in the article, SUPing at Bear Creek Lake Park beach and tubing on Clear Creek in Golden.
