As we step into 2026, I’m incredibly grateful—for the clients who trusted me, the friends who referred me, and for being invited into so many important chapters of your lives.

Homes hold stories, families, and legacies, and the responsibility of guiding someone through those transitions is one I never take lightly. Speaking of stories and legacies, I recently had the chance to experience that in two very different ways:

My Aunt Tammy put together a series of podcasts about our family’s story as a Christmas gift to the entire family. In each of the 13 episodes, a different member of our Mulligan family sat down with Tammy to laugh, cry, and share memories from our lives. You can listen to my episode here.

Also in December, I helped Lou — a proud U.S. veteran who called his Denver condo home for nearly 50 years — begin his next chapter by closing on his home.

With his daughter out of state and little local family support, I found myself a few months earlier sitting in his living room, sorting through decades of memories, mementos, and war photographs.

I had only known him a week or two, yet there we were, reliving a lifetime. Moments like that stay with you. Whether helping someone buy their first home, move into a dream home, or begin a new chapter later in life, my goal is always the same: to guide each client with care, respect, and heart.

Lou’s home is now sold. Inside its walls, updates may come…but the memories of a life well-lived will always remain.

Sometimes, old friends become clients.

And every once in a while, it’s the other way around.
