COMPASS real estate professionals closed 60,328 total transactions in the Fourth Quarter of 2025, an increase of 19.7% compared to Q4 2024 (And for the full year 2025?...250,360 transactions!) This 19.7% jump compares to the overall market, which increased by 0.7%. And full-year 2025, up about 22%! Over 655 transactions per day, 27 transactions per hour (24/7)!

First-time Homebuyers, Rejoice!

A report released last fall by the National Association of Realtors upended this basic assumption. For several decades, the typical age of first-time homebuyers bounced around the early 30s, never surpassing 33.
