Memorial Day weekend has arrived, and it looks like the coast is going to show off for us. Sunshine, blue skies, and that little hint of summer energy are all in the forecast, which feels like the perfect way to welcome the long weekend.
I always think Memorial Day carries a special kind of balance. It is a weekend many of us associate with family, barbecues, beach time, and the unofficial start of summer, but it is also a meaningful time to remember and honor the men and women who gave so much for our country. I hope whatever your plans are, there is a moment to reflect, appreciate, and enjoy the freedoms we are so fortunate to have.
This week’s email has a nice mix of real estate, local lifestyle, my Coastal OC Hot List and a few fun things happening around town. I included an article about a question I know many buyers are wondering right now: are home prices going to fall? It is a very fair question, especially with so many headlines out there, but as always, real estate is local. What is happening nationally does not always tell the full story of what is happening here in Coastal Orange County.
I also included a Dana Point dining piece because the Lantern District continues to become more and more fun. Between the restaurants, the walkability, the harbor nearby, and that easy summer evening feel, it is one of those areas that keeps giving people more reasons to love Dana Point.
