Jim Young

Meet Jim
A Tennessee native, Jim has called Franklin home for more than 25 years. Jim proudly
served in the U.S. Navy before attending Mississippi State University, where he earned
his business degree. After graduation, he spent over 20 years in commercial insurance
& financial planning before expanding into real estate and other business ventures.

Jim’s professional background also includes involvement in a thriving furniture business
with locations in Nashville, Memphis, and Birmingham, giving him valuable insight into
business operations across multiple markets. His decades of experience, combined with
deep roots in the community, make him a trusted resource for clients throughout Middle
Tennessee.

Jim and his wife, Sara, have four children—from college graduates to their youngest at
Battle Ground Academy. The family is actively involved in their local church, and Jim
proudly serves on the Board of Directors for the Narrow Gate Foundation, a nonprofit
dedicated to educating, inspiring, and empowering young men to become Christian
disciples.

Outside of work, Jim enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, fitness, and outdoor
activities. His deep roots in the area, coupled with professional experience and
community leadership, make him a trusted partner for clients seeking guidance in
