As a former expat, Lynda brings a unique perspective to relocation to the New York area. After growing up in New Mexico and attending Loyola University Chicago for her bachelor's degree, Lynda taught English in Tokyo and traveled throughout Southeast Asia. Upon meeting her husband, she relocated to his hometown of Melbourne, Australia for 10 years, where their two children were born. Before working in real estate, Lynda studied at the University of Melbourne, received a Masters of Public Administration and worked as a researcher for several governmental organizations. She was a copywriter for an instructional design firm and still loves to write. As a result, she is very attentive to detail and produces results quickly.
Lynda understands the ins and outs of resettling a family. When her children were young, she and her husband moved them to the United States to be closer to their American family. The family lived in Los Angeles for two years, and finally settled in Pelham, NY, where they have lived for 10 years. These invaluable experiences have enabled Lynda to adapt seamlessly to changing circumstances or environment. She enjoys being challenged, meeting new people, and exploring Westchester and beyond, so a pivot to real estate was a perfect fit. She is thrilled to be part of Sona Davidian's Compass team in Pelham, a team that prides itself on integrity, attention to detail, and open communication.
Lynda enjoys being active in her community and serves in the Pelham Junior League's Ending Hunger committee, The Pelham Examiner, her church in Bronxville, and her children’s PTAs. She enjoys keeping busy with her family hiking Westchester’s many trails or exploring NYC’s fun neighborhoods. She's an avid reader, coffee enthusiast, and dog lover.
