Shaun Berkey

Shaun was born in Chicago and grew up in Oak Park, Illinois. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and became a teacher. She taught third and sixth grades in the Washington DC area while her husband finished law school. Afterwards they joined the Peace Corps and taught English as a second language in Thailand. When they returned they moved to Fargo, ND where Jack and Shaun raised their son and two daughters. Shaun taught third and sixth grades before becoming a middle math teacher teaching algebra and pre-algebra to eighth graders.

Upon retirement they moved to Colorado to be closer to their children and grandchildren. They also purchased a sail boat and cruised around Florida and the Bahamas in the winters. Shaun enjoys adventure and challenges.

A couple of years ago Shaun earned her real estate license and joined her daughter Sarah Hertzenberg. Sarah has been a successful award winning agent for over fifteen years. It is a role reversal but Shaun enjoys learning and respects her daughter’s expertise. Shaun is an empathic hard working woman who enjoys working with people. She is dedicated to finding the right home for each client. She is patient, trustworthy, and will make home buying an enjoyable and satisfying successful experience.
