Wendy Harman

Wendy is the Founder / Principal of Point B Realty on Martha's Vineyard -- and now the Managing Director and team leader for Point B at COMPASS. 

Wendy's first visit to Martha's Vineyard was back in 1992, on a bicycling vacation from her hometown of Seattle, WA. She was instantly enchanted with the beauty of the island and the close-knit sense of community she experienced.  Wendy ended up returning to vacation on Martha's Vineyard for five consecutive summers after which, she made the decision to follow her dreams and move to the island to live year-round.

That move to Martha's Vineyard was now more than 25 years ago --  and Wendy considers herself so incredibly lucky to have established a career in real estate, which enables her to help clients and customers create memories with family and/or friends within a place and a community that she loves so much.

Today, Wendy is a highly accomplished real estate professional with a remarkable track record of procuring over $1.5 billion in real estate sales since starting Point B in 2008. Her expertise and dedication to her clients have made her one of the most respected brokers in the region.

A 25-year background in corporate branding, marketing, and publishing, combined with her deep understanding of the local real estate market, has allowed Wendy to create a truly immersive and rewarding experience for buyers, sellers, landlords, and renters. At Point B, the team of professionals that she has brought together represent the best in real estate sales, vacation rentals, marketing, technology, and guest services, ensuring the highest level of service and knowledge for clients.

In addition to her professional achievements, Wendy is deeply committed to the Martha's Vineyard community. In 2010, she and her husband created the Martha's Vineyard Teddy Bear Suite, an annual fundraising event over the Christmas In Edgartown weekend that has raised over $400,000 for the Martha's Vineyard Boys and Girls Club and its after-school food program. Wendy's support has been crucial to the success of the club's Healthy Happy Kids program, helping to fight hunger and food insecurity for children on the island.

Wendy's dedication to serving the diverse needs of the Martha's Vineyard community has earned her recognition, including the inaugural Good Neighbor Award from the Cape Cod & Islands Association of REALTORS® in 2019.  

Her move to partner with Compass in May of 2022 has further strengthened Point B's position as the #1 producing team on Martha's Vineyard, with recognition as the #2 mid-sized real estate team in Massachusetts by REALTRENDS in 2022.
