Millennials Are Changing the Luxury Real Estate Market Bloomberg states that tech-savvy and environmentally conscious millennial preferences are poised to dramatically reshape the high-end housing market. According to a 38% survey, millennials—adults born from 1981 to 1996—represent the largest share of homebuyers in the U.S., according to a survey by the National Association of Realtors released last year. With mortgage rates at record lows, Millennial buyers have taken advantage and are responsible for a majority of the record mortgage applications in 2020. Forbes reported the top ten metropolitan areas Millennials have flocked to include San Jose, Boston, Denver, Minneapolis, Buffalo, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Austin, Pittsburgh, and New York City. |

The 2021 Zilker Kite Fest was scheduled for March 27th and 28th. While we won't be able to gather at Zilker this year, our friends at Austin Parks Foundation hope we will reimagine the weekend as an opportunity to celebrate Austin’s beautiful green spaces. The Austin Parks Foundation encourages households to fly a kite at their local park while maintaining social distance from others. |

Barton Springs Pool Within Zilker Park's 358 acres, lies one of Austin's crown jewels: Barton Springs Pool. The pool itself measures three acres in size. It's fed from underground springs with an average temperature of 68-70 degrees all year round. Fun Fact: Robert Redford learned to swim at Barton Springs Pool when he was five years old. The pool attracts a diverse crowd, and we wouldn't have it any other way. They closed for a deep cleaning last weekend, but have since reopened with normal operating hours. |
