Home Prices Continue to Climb With an average annual price increase of 11.5% across 150 cities, this is the highest rate of growth since the third quarter of 2004. Home supply was tight before the pandemic made it worse, as many families looked for bigger homes to adapt to remote work and remains a key factor in BofA’s forecast for home prices to climb 15% in 2022 and 5% in 2023.
