Last month I had the pleasure of representing my client on the purchase of one of the most 

spectacular and unique residences in SoHo. With its private 25-foot heated saltwater pool, 2200

square-feet of outdoor space and 3397 square-feet of luxurious interior space, 565 Broome Street’s 

marquee duplex is an eye-opener. Just what you would expect from famed architect Renzo Piano. 

And talk about timing, it had just come back on the market. The asking price was $14.95 million. I 

knew if we didn’t act immediately, it would be scooped up right away. I also knew that with 

savvy deal-making, we could successfully negotiate a good deal.


During the past six months, we have witnessed ever-changing dynamics in real estate that
