Here comes the sun! Are you as thrilled as I am to be out on a beautiful hike or being active and exploring where we live? We went out for our first hike as a family last week. Things were still pretty sticky on the trails, but I can't wait to get back out, as gym time doesn't end up working out with my busy family life. On my last trip to the Sonoma Valley Regional library, I learned that California State Parks has partnered with our local libraries to offer free day use parking passes to over 200 State Parks! You check the pass out just like you would a library book. What an incredible way to get out and explore, and not have to remember to have cash on hand. The librarian also gave me a day use pass for the stunning Jack London State Park. Now, I am on a mission to get out there for the first time. |

I've been brainstorming again, for another fun adventure to take my son on, as we are in the midst of his second Spring Break. It's a toss up between an adventure packed day heading to the Glorious Six Flags, which just sounds exhausting. I am thinking something more mellow like Safari West is in order. Their first ever "White Rhino" was born on April 2nd. Have you ever been to Safari West? |
