We're launching a Soles4Souls shoe drive! Over the next few weeks, we'll be collecting lightly used athletic shoes for this amazing nonprofit organization. Soles4Souls turns unwanted shoes into opportunity, by keeping them from going to waste and putting them to good use – providing relief, creating jobs, and empowering people to break the cycle of poverty. And because March is Women's History Month, you should also know that t hrough their micro-enterprise program, Soles4Souls empowers women in developing countries to start and sustain small businesses through the sale of shoes. Have a closet to clean out? Let us know and we’ll come and pick up your shoes, or you can drop them off on one of our enclosed porches (in Cambridge and Somerville). One pair changes lives!
