2021 MARKET WRAP-UP
The real estate trends we saw developing as a result of Covid continued throughout 2021, namely an out-migration of renters from the Bay Area, buyers looking for bigger homes in suburban areas, a robust second home market, and a frenzied buyer pool making offers considerably over asking. Given the Bay Area's strong job market, we do not anticipate these trends to reverse course anytime soon. If you are a buyer, not to worry - the volume of homes for sale is at its highest level in nearly 5 years, just be ready to make a decision quickly, prepare that there may be multiple offers and possibly make several offers before you find your dream home. If you are a seller, we are now in the throws of the early spring selling season. Thinking of selling in 2022? Now is the time to start preparing. A few key improvements can go a long way with buyers - and deliver a great return on your investment. Contact us for guidance from our team and to tap into our network of trusted local contractors.
