Once more I have the pleasure of opening my newsletter with one of the brilliant New York photographs by Argentinian-Dutch photographer @Richard Koek. A magician with the camera, he captures the New York City I adore - with all the corky, glamorous, manifold beauty of its people and its entrancing architecture. As unique as its inhabitants, are the properties of New York. Each has its own groove, soul, and history to be discovered. And New York City is its own Real Estate landscape - unlike anything else in the country. Buying or selling property here has its own unique process that can be full of surprises (and take months). Many dreaming of a NYC home coming from out of town or out of the country, or homeowners who haven't sold property here in decades, are unaware of this. Real Estate is hyper local and a thing of the present. While the past informs the present, every prediction for the future is a guess - some more informed, some speculative. It's wise to take with a grain of salt what the media presents in a bold headline - it might be something that does not apply to New York City, nor the market in the specific neighborhood you're targeting for a purchase or where you're selling. Working with a real estate consultant who has insider information of the current data, and the experience to access the meaning behind the numbers, will reward your efforts. Scroll down to read what Robert Reffkin, CEO of Compass has to say about the numbers. Compass continues to lead the way when it comes to website visitors: As of February 2023, Compass continues to be #1 in web traffic with over 22 million website visitors in 3 months (Nov 2022 to Feb 2023), significantly more than any other firm. I'd love to discuss the current local market with you, and what opportunities it holds for you at this very moment in time. Scroll down for more Real Estate News, Featured Listings and NYC Cultural Events in March. While I welcome the recognition "Women's History Month" brings to women all over the world in March, lets remember that women accomplish incredible inventions, break through glass ceilings and other bias, create transformative art, inspire new generations, fight for peace and survival, and care for their loved ones with unequaled devotion and love all year round; and often do so without being acknowledged, recognized or celebrated for it. We can change that, by acknowledging and appreciating their performances and achievements with a wild applause! |

| | 15 Major Interior Design Trends for 2023 |
| "Design trends during the 2010s tended to veer toward minimalism, so that spaces often showcased clean lines and pared-down decor that was often impersonal. Now, the pendulum is swinging in the other direction. People today are embracing personality, eccentricity, and maximalist joy from their homes. You'll be glad to know that 2023's interior design trends will put you at the center." |
