Welcome to my first monthly newsletter! |

I hope that this can be a resource for you with happenings in Napa and Sonoma counties. It will also serve as a place for information about the real estate market, homes around the Country, or referrals for items on that "honey do list", like getting that fence fixed! I will sometimes even include tidbits about my family and I. As they say, “Spring is in the air”, and I felt that this past weekend more than ever. If you’re like me, with March 20th being the first day of Spring, it feels like it is right around the corner. I know that as soon as the mustard fields start to bloom and the cherry blossoms start to pop, there doesn't seem to be enough hours in my day. |

I was a stay at home Mom, with three kids for the last three years, and then I turned 40 in September of last year. My Husband, Kevin and I added our newest baby, Graeson to the mix, and boy did I need to hit the reset button! I made the commitment to myself to finally become a REALTOR®, and I studied while Graeson was napping. Whether you need to make a change big or small, I am proof, that anything is possible! If you need the ultimate home reset, follow the work by my dear friend, Jaclyn (picture above), at Jaclyn Christensen Design. I’m always in awe of her design of interior spaces. Her Instagram is full of the most amazing designs. Need a business refresh? With the start my new business, I enlisted the help of Ashley Cornil, of Moniker Design Studio, for a logo. She had me fill out a really straight forward questionnaire, which helped her to get a feel for who I am. Then, bada-bing! If you’re looking for branding on any level, she is incredible. |

This is my favorite time of year to go wine tasting. The crisp, cool mornings and the sunlit afternoons are the perfect time to make a few appointments. Besides, even us locals take some mustard photos every now and then. If you need a little inspiration for your next appointment, I highly suggest Iron Horse Vineyards. It’s off beaten path, and in my opinion, some of the best bubbles around! Intrigued, and want to see houses? Me too! I am witnessing firsthand, that more and more buyers have hit the market in the last month. The first open house that I hosted, I met a few groups of wonderful people. Two weeks later, we’re really starting to see more foot traffic with people searching for their next home, as I witnessed this last weekend Below are links to the Real Estate Reports for February in Sonoma and Napa Counties. Keep in mind that most "hard" data in real estate is based on closed, recorded sales, a lagging indicator which generally reflects deal-making activity in the previous month, when offers were negotiated. January sales, the basis for many analyses in this report, mostly reflect the December 2022 market when new listing activity and buyer demand were typically at their lowest ebb in years. February and March listing and sales data will begin to better reflect early 2023 conditions. |
