Happy May everyone! This is one of the busiest months for our family. Three of our kids have birthdays this month (1st, 26th and 31st). School is almost out so there are tons of events that the schools host, and of course, the kids softball and flag football is happening. Now is the time that I begin finalizing our Summer plans too. On top of all of that, I tend to get FOMO with all of the Springtime events happening locally. Restaurants are showcasing their new farm to table menu updates, and the wineries are featuring their newest vintage releases. Farmers markets are reopening, and garden centers are booming with new veggies for planting. The vines in the vineyards went through bud-break, and are that glorious vivid green. Just typing about everything makes me want to be out and exploring. I want to soak it up and experience it all. What are your favorite things to do this time of year?For all of you outdoor lovers, I found the coolest gadget. Check out the the Bird Buddy! I can think of a few people that may be getting this as a Christmas gift. |

A lot of the work that we do as agents is out viewing and showing property, so I am able to work anywhere. When I started, I was fortunate to land a desk in the Compass Santa Rosa office, with some of the kindest, and most collaborative people I have ever met. They took me under their wings, and have been a wealth of information. Some of you may not know that I recently made the change to have a desk in our Sonoma Office. When I need to utilize a space other than the one that I have at home, this has been such a wonderful place to be. I am steps away from the Plaza, but also can travel to Napa Valley or Northern Sonoma County at a moments notice. |

Last but not least, my first closing happened in April! I've wanted to work in real estate for so incredibly long, and now I am here. It's been so much work to get going, but the joy that this career brings me is unlike anything I have ever felt in my 25 years of being employed. I often think about our buyer and wonder what things she's taking care of in her new home. I look forward to helping you or maybe even your friends through this process as well.
