Hi Friends!

I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend and were able to spend a little time with the people you love. We are right in that pretty May season where the mornings can feel a little coastal and gray, but the afternoons still give us those beautiful glimpses of spring in South Orange County.

This week’s email has a nice mix of home and local lifestyle inspiration. I especially liked the articles on staging and interior design, because they are such good reminders that the way a home feels really does matter. Buyers are still very much responding to homes that feel fresh, intentional, warm, and easy to imagine living in. Sometimes the right furniture placement, lighter styling, or a few thoughtful updates can completely change the way a property shows.

I also included this week’s Coastal OC Hot List of new homes on the market. There were 104 new listings across South Orange County this week, bringing the total number of homes currently on the market to 598, with 68 homes closing escrow. From those, I always like to highlight a few that stand out for location, ocean views, single-level living, thoughtful upgrades, or simply something special that makes them worth a closer look.

And if you are looking for something fun to do this weekend, there are some great local options. The Dana Point Farmers Market is always a favorite way to start a Saturday morning, San Juan Capistrano has its weekly walking tours, and the Balboa Island ArtWalk is happening Sunday if you feel like getting out near the water and enjoying local art.

On the listing side, I am excited to share that 2316 North Flower Street in Floral Park is now in escrow and we are set to close in about two weeks!

There were 101 new listings that came on the market across South Orange County this week, bringing the total number of homes currently on the market to 575 and 58 of those closed escrow. From those, I always like to highlight a handful that really stand out. Homes with exceptional locations, ocean views, single level living, thoughtful upgrades, or simply something that makes them worth a closer look.
