Sue's News and Views

April 2022

Dear All,

My favorite time of the year - when from dried wood flowers spring, suddenly. When grey turns to yellow, pink, orange, red and purple! The power and resilience of nature is a sublime inspiration for anybody who understands that what seems perished can turn into a new opportunity - if you recognize it. Recognize that underneath that dead wood is green life sprouting and pushing towards the sun.

SPRING IS HOPE MADE VISIBLE

The Real Estate Market is thriving, too. Take a look at the Manhattan Weekly Luxury report (scroll down for the link).  Rental inventory is low, and being gobbled up in - literally - hours. And this even before the busy season has begun.

Compass has reason to celebrate, I have joined a new team at Compass, and my birthday is coming up, too. Every day a new beginning.

Happy Spring Everyone 🌸!

Warm regards,

sue

April 1 - May 15

New York, 1863. Paradise Square depicts an overlooked true-life moment when hope and possibility shone bright:  As the Civil War rages on, free Blacks and Irish immigrants live and love together in the unlikeliest of neighborhoods – the dangerous streets and crumbling tenement houses of Lower Manhattan’s notorious Five Points slum. Within this galvanizing story of racial harmony undone by a country at war with itself, we meet the denizens of a local saloon called Paradise Square.

A beautiful new gem sparkling on Broadway!
