May 2022 Real Estate Market Report |

Median sales price for residential and condos increased in May 2022 compared to May 2021 but decreased 8.62% for single family homes. Number of closed sales decreased for this same time period comparison, reflecting the continued limited supply of properties on the market. |

Only in Hawaii: You Own the Home but not the L andLeasehold Properties Although leasehold properties are predominately located on Oahu, there are still a handful of these properties located on Kaua'i -- Pali Ke Kua and the Cliffs in Princeville still have a few; Kiahuna Plantation in Poipu; and the senior living community in Lihue called Sun Village. Very interesting read. If you see a price that's too good to be true, it's probably leasehold (LH). |
