During his professional career, Ward played a significant role in some of Atlanta's most transformational projects, including the 1996 Olympics and Paralympics, Centennial Olympic Park, The Atlanta BeltLine, Avalon, Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, and numerous other notable corporations.
For 26 years, Ward and his wife have lived in Druid Hills, where they still reside with their three beloved children. As an avid Atlanta sports fan, he spends his weekends supporting his favorite teams, competing in ALTA team tennis, and watching his son play travel baseball at one of the city's many baseball complexes. He has spent many years as a devoted basketball coach for young, aspiring athletes at Glenn Memorial UMC.
